This Leesburg VA crawl space was vented to the outside and had water/moisture issues as a result. The floor and rooms above were often impacted by the outside temperatures working against the homes conditioned air and caused comfort and energy issues for the homeowner along with poor air quality. Our home performance sales pro conducted a no cost evaluation of the home and was able to determine that insulation and floor coverage was needed to improve the crawl space and air quality of the home. Silver Glo wall panel insulation was used to seal up the walls in the crawl space as well as covering the once open to outside vents. Zyp Foam was used to seal up the panels and keep air from coming in or out of the crawlspace. Clean Space was installed all across the dirt floors and up the base of the walls. This will keep any moisture below the surface and keep the air in the crawl space dry and fresh.
