Photo Album: Middleburg VA Crawl Space Repair and Sump Pump Installation

This Middleburg VA crawl space needed a full transformation to reduce the humidity and control the unwanted water inside.  Our Home Performance Sales Pro Jon visited with the homeowner to provide a full inspection and was able to identify several products and services to help.  Covering the dirt floors with Clean Space to trap the wetness and moisture was an important step along with using spray foam to insulate walls of the crawl space and installing a sump pump and Sedona dehumidifier to collect the moisture in the air and discharge it out of the crawl space.  Finally, installing a new Everlast crawl space door to properly seal the entrance.  Controlling the environment inside of the crawl space would help to improve the air quality in the home, make the living space above more comfortable and reduce the energy needed to heat and cool the home all year long. A dry crawl space, a comfortable home and lower energy bills were the benefits for the homeowners.
