Photo Album: Crawl Space Repair Service Vienna Virginia

This Vienna VA home needed some serious TLC from top to bottom. We were up for the task. The crawl space of the home was nasty, with dirty floors covered in old plastic, musty wet insulation falling from the crawl space ceiling and open vents allowing external air to flow freely into the space. Several members of our team worked to create the right project and plan to address this nasty crawl space and help make the home above more comfortable, with better air quality and lower energy bills. Step one was removal of the old materials, followed by the installation of Silver Glo insulation panels to cover the walls and block the open air vents. Zyp foam was used to air seal the panels and keep the space more controlled and protected from outside temperatures. Multiple floor cover layers were installed to prevent any water or moisture from impacting the condition and air in the crawl space and the foundations supports were wrapped up. Clean Space lining was sed to cover the entire surface of the crawl space and the base of the foundation walls.

Previous attempts by the homeowner to help improve the crawl space were unsuccessful. They had spray foam insulation put into some areas of the crawl space but did not properly air seal the space.
