This homeowner in Madison Virginia called us to help with their crawl space. They had experienced issues with frozen pipes the winter before and had discovered the presence of rodents in their crawl space. Our Certified Home Performance Sales Pro Carl went out to do an inspection and was able to design a project that would address each of these issues and more. Encapsulating the crawl space with drainage matting, pier wraps, Clean Space and spray foam insulation along with adding a new Everlast Door would help to seal off the space from external air and temperatures as well as rodents and bugs. Adding a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier would help to control the air and improve the quality of air in the home and rooms above. This would all make the home more comfortable and energy efficient and keep their pipes from freezing.
