Moisture Problem in a Crawl Space in Markham, VA

Challenge

Not long ago we got a call from a customer desperately looking for some answers. While re-doing the floors in their home they found signs of moisture damage (mold, mildew, etc.), and over the next few weeks the problem got significantly worse. This customer wanted a solution to control the moisture and humidity levels in the crawlspace permanently.

Solution

We aim to provide our customers with the best vapor barriers on the market and that is exactly what this homeowner needed for their crawlspace. We installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier system in this home. This system involves installing a drainage matting first, followed by TerraBlock, and then CleanSpace. TerraBlock provides a vapor barrier that is puncture resistant and will not be damaged by water or support the growth of mold and mildew. CleanSpace is installed over top of the TerraBlock. CleanSpace is designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from getting into your crawlspace. On the walls of the crawlspace we installed our SilverGlo, a product designed to provide insulation and a vapor barrier, holding back the moisture and humidity. Another product we installed to make sure this crawlspace stayed dry and healthy is the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. These customers no longer have to worry about moisture damage in their home.
