Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Attic Converted to Beautiful Storage Space - Aldie, VA

This homeowner in Aldie, VA wanted to convert an unconditioned and otherwise uncomfortable attic space to a properly insualted storage area. Many homes in our area convert unfinished rooms of the house to storage areas as an economical way to expand living area and eliminate the need for expensive storage unit rentals.  The 'before' pictures clearly show a messy, uninsulated attic space that was not accessible or comfortable to use. For this customer, we removed the existing insulation prior to beginning our work. This way, we were able to observe the quality of our air sealing and conditioning efforts while we were installing.  The result was a beautiful, fully insulated storage room in the attic.
