Uneven Crawl Space
This photo simply shows the uneven earth in the crawl spaces beneath your home. Before our team starts laying down the barrier between the soil and your home, they do their best to level the ground below your home. You can also see in the image that the foundation of the home in Falls Church, VA is made out of concrete blocks. Concrete block walls have a tendency to allow moisture and outside air to seep in so we will later see that they too will be sealed off as the ground is.
CleanSpace drainage matting
This is the first product that is laid directly on top of the soil. The CleanSpace Drainage Matting system provides a layer of space for water to move beneath, and protects the other products and our teams' poor knees from any sharper objects in the soil. This protective layer increases comfort for team, but most importantly durability of the entire system being installed.
TerraBlock ready to be laid out
This is a great shot of what the product, TerraBlock looks like before it is installed. The flexible lining is a thick layer of padding and thermal insulation. This is laid after the CleanSpace Drainage Matting and before the CleanSpace Liner.
Ready for CleanSpace liner
Rolling out CleanSpace liner
CleanSpace liner is a tough barrier that protects your home from moisture. This adheres directly to the TerraBlock and we make sure every piece laid overlaps by 6 inches to ensure a sealed off dry space. You can see how it is also applied to the the walls.
