Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Falls Church Crawl Space Transformation

This Falls Church VA crawl space was a mess.  Vents in the walls were allowing external air to move in and out of the crawl space bringing uncontrolled moisture, bugs and allergens.  The exposed dirt floors were showing evidence of rodents and had mud where there was water leaking from a plumbing pipe.  The insulation was falling loose and exposing he floors above to be impacted by the temperature and air in the crawl space.  Our Sales Pro Eric recommended an encapsulation for the crawl space to help.  SilverGlo insulation panels were installed on all of the walls and CleanSpace was used to cover the floors.  CleanSpace consists of TerraBlock matting laid on the dirt floor to create cover and allow air flow.  It is then covered with CleanSpace material to seal in and create a useable flooring space that eliminates moisture and allergens moving from the floor into the air around.  This crawl space is now a controlled environment with improved air quality and will reduce the cost to heat and cool the rooms of the home above.
