Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Great Falls VA Crawl Space Insulation and Waterproofing

This Great Falls VA homeowner had floors that they felt were too cold in the winter time. They had a musty smell in their crawl space and decided to call us to help try and find a solution to address it all. Our Home Performance Sales Pro Greg visited to perform a whole home inspection and was able to identify several products and services that would help. Greg recommended Silver Glo wall insulation panels, rim joist sealing with spray foam and Clean Space to cover the dirt floors and base of the walls. This would allow for removal of the old insulation which was hanging loose from the crawl space ceiling and failing to keep the floors above warm. Sealing up the crawl space from letting outside air come in and covering the floors made the space controlled and conditioned while also improving the air quality in the home above. This would also lead to a need for less energy to heat the home and lower energy bills.
