Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Berryville VA Wet Crawl Space and Spray Foam Insulation

This Berryville VA home had a tall crawl space that housed some of the homes utility units and was used for storage by the owner.  Noticeable amounts of water had been pooling on the floor  when it rained so the homeowner called us to see if we could help.  Our Home Performance Sales Pro Carl visited and designed a plan of services and products to improve the crawl space, eliminate moisture in the air and better insulate the home.  Our production team later visited and installed several layers of material on the floors including Terra Block and Clean Space which was also run up the base of the walls.  This would all work to keep any moisture below and prevent it from making the air musty.  Spray Foam was used around parts of the HVAC ducts and in all of the rim joists of the home.  This will keep external air and temperatures from impacting the crawl space.  Improved air quality and better control of the homes temperature were benefits of the Spray Foam applications.
