Annandale Virginia Nasty Crawl Space

This home in Annandale Virginia had a nasty crawl space.  Musty smells, rotted wood, dirty plastic covering the floors and excessive humidity were just some of the problems we were able to address by encapsulating the crawl space.  Sealing up the vents which allowed external air, allergens and temperatures to impact the air inside the home was the first step.  Insulating the walls of the space and then putting down a moisture barrier to cover everything else followed.  This home will now have better air quality, improved comfort, lower energy bills and the potential for any of the pipes freezing has been reduced almost totally.

Alexandria VA Basement Window Well

This Alexandria VA home had several issues leading to basement waterproofing needs.  One of those issues was a basement window well that was leaking water into the home when it rained.  Our production team needed to demolish the existing concrete well and dig out the space in order to install our exclusively sold Sunhouse Window Well with cover. They were able treat the brick section of the homes foundation and window to reduce pathways for water to leak inside before installing the Sunhouse Window Well.  this along with several other services performed inside of the home will lead to a better controlled basement and better air quality in the home.

Alexandria VA Sump Pump Upgrade

This crawl space in Alexandria VA had a sump pump that wasn't working the way the homeowner needed it to.  The crawl space would gather water in several spaces when it rained and it was not all being captured by the sump pump.  Our production team installed sub floor water proofing to help collect and send all of the unwanted water to the newly installed double sump pump to discharge it out of the home.  The rest of the crawl space surface was covered with a moisture barrier to keep the air quality of the home from having too much humidity.
